ISLAMABAD: Around 352 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country, no death due to the virus has been reported in the last 24 hours, but the condition of 153 citizens is critical.
According to the statistics released by the National Institute of Health, a total of 15 lakh 60 thousand 602 people have been affected by coronavirus, while 30 thousand 508 have died due to the virus. The mortality rate remains at 2 percent.
During the last 24 hours, 13,325 tests were conducted for the diagnosis of coronavirus, while the ratio of positive cases was 2.64 percent. The total number of tests was 2,97,64,616 while 153 coronavirus patients are in intensive care.

During the last 24 hours across the country, 508 patients have defeated coronavirus, which has brought the number of recovered people to 15,20,524, while the number of active cases has decreased to 9,570. Punjab and Sindh were the most affected by the virus.
In Sindh, 5,91,964 people were affected by coronavirus while 8,196 died. In Punjab, 5,16,825 citizens were affected while 13,590 lost their lives. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was the third largest province affected by the virus.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 22,281 people were affected bycoronavirus while 6,332 died. In Islamabad, 13,855 people were affected by coronavirus while 1,028 died. Around 43,896 coronavirus cases were reported in Azad Kashmir.
Around 793 people died due to virus in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. In Balochistan, 35,849 citizens have been affected by coronavirus while 378 have lost their lives. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 11,932 people have been affected by coronavirus while 191 have died.
