Pakistan has strategic edge after US-Taliban peace deal: Senator Mushahid

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed has said that Pakistan has achieved strategic edge after the US-Taliban peace deal in Doha.
Talking to a private news channel, Mushahid Hussain Syed said the government should move forward for seeking support from US administration to resolve the hoary issues with India.
Appreciating the rule of establishment for paving way for Afghan peace deal with the United States, he said President Donald Trump during his latest visit to India, had manifestly appreciated the role of Pakistan.
He further said that Pakistan had to bear an economic crisis due to fighting a war on terror for the restoration of peace in the country.
Mushahid Hussain Syed also said that the Afghan peace deal given evidence to the position of Pakistan in the wake of peace in the region.
