Pakistan’s military operations against the Afghan Taliban are continuing “unabated,” Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal clarified, dismissing social media claims that the operations had been halted.
In a post on X, Fazal explained that recent pauses in sharing Pakistan Air Force and drone footage with the media were intended to protect national security and operational strategy, not to stop the counterterrorism campaign. “Operations continue unabated,” he said, adding that efforts against terrorist elements are progressing “with full intensity and wisdom.”

Information Minister Attaullah Tarar provided further details on Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, reporting that 352 Taliban fighters had been killed and over 535 injured.
