Pakistan Day was first officially celebrated on March 23, 1959. Seven years after independence, on March 23, 1956, under the leadership of President Iskander Mirza and Prime Minister Chaudhry Muhammad Ali, the country implemented its first indigenous constitution.
The creation and enforcement of the new constitution was a major achievement. Therefore, the government of the time declared it a historic day and decided that it would be celebrated annually at the official level with enthusiasm as Republic Day on March 23.
It is worth mentioning that the Burj Khalifa regularly features special lighting displays for national flags of different countries and on important occasions, serving as a beautiful example of global unity and cultural harmony.
