Pak Army prepared to thwart any misadventure: Corps Commanders

Resurgence of terrorism not be tolerated, Gen Bajwa tells Corps Commanders’ Conference
RAWALPINDI: The Corps Commanders Conference mutually agreed that Pakistan Army was prepared to thwart any misadventure, whatever the cost may be.
According to a press release issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa headed the Corps Commander Conference at the General Head Quarters (GHQ) today (Thursday).
The press release stated that during the conference, matters related to the geostrategic environment of the country with a special focus on internal security and situation at the borders were discussed.
The press release added that the Corps Commanders denounced provocative statements by Indian leadership and warned that the irresponsible rhetoric would have major implications on the region.
The conference also paid tribute to the people of Indian occupied Kashmir.
At the occasion, COAS Bajwa said, “Repression of Indian occupying forces can never deny Kashmiris their right to self-determination as promised by UN resolutions. Regardless of the ordeal, their struggle is destined to succeed.”
The CCC also apprised about the progress of operation Radd-ul-Fassad, which has put Pakistan on a positive trajectory and paving the way for long-lasting peace and stability.
