WASHINGTON: Concerns over potential disruptions to oil supplies from the Middle East outweighed signs of improving crude exports from the region, sending global oil prices higher for a second consecutive trading session.
Brent crude futures rose $1.49, or 1.4%, to $106.77 a barrel in early trading on Tuesday.
US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude also gained $1.34, or 1.5%, reaching $93.94 a barrel.
