ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Wednesday cut the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs6 per kilogram.
The new price of LPG will be Rs212 per kilogram for September 2022.
However, the price of LPG has recorded increase in the current week in several parts of the country without official OGRA’s approval.
According to LPG Distribution Association (LDAP) the LPG prices in major cities of Pakistan have increased by Rs10/kg. The gas was now being sold at Rs250 per kg in cities while the same is being sold at Rs280 per kg in mountainous areas of the country.
LDAP further stated that the prices were increased unjustifiably, noting that the liquefied gas prices as per Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) was set at Rs218 per kg by OGRA for the month of August.
