ISLAMABAD: The notification of the appointment of DG ISI is expected tomorrow after Prime Minister Imran Khan held an important meeting with DG ISI Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum.
According to a local newspaper, no official statement has been issued regarding this important meeting between PM Imran Khan and DG ISI Corps Commander Karachi Lt. Gen. Nadeem Ahmed Anjum. However, sources confirmed the appointment of Anjum as the new DG ISI is expected in the next few days.
Sources said that Lieutenant General Nadeem Anjum is the only three-star general who met the prime minister on Wednesday and hoped that the notification of his appointment would be issued tomorrow.

According to the report, General Nadeem Anjum will assume charge of the new DG ISI within a week or ten days, while the current head of ISI, Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed, will take over as Corps Commander Peshawar.
