The New Zealand cricket team, which came to play the ODI series against the national cricket team, will leave Islamabad for its home country today.

According to details, a special plane will arrive at Islamabad Airport today to pick up the New Zealand cricket team. The Civil Aviation Authority allowed the special aircraft to land in Pakistan.

Aviation sources claimed that the special flight from Pakistan will leave Islamabad Airport for the United Arab Emirates at 6 pm today and will depart from UAE for New Zealand.

Earlier, former national team captain and cricket commentator Wasim Akram, while reacting to the cancellation of the New Zealand cricket team’s tour of Pakistan, said that Pakistan is the safest country in the world to play cricket.

In a message on Twitter today, Wasim Akram said, “I am deeply disappointed by the news of the cancellation of the New Zealand Cricket Board’s tour while Pakistan is providing international standard security.”

Earlier, PCB chairman Rameez Raja had said that he would now talk to the New Zealand Cricket Board in the ICC. The return of the New Zealand cricket team made me very sad for cricket fans and players.

Reacting to the sudden cancellation of the series by the New Zealand Cricket Board, the PCB chairman said yesterday that he was disappointed with the cancellation of the tour due to security concerns. New Zealand unilaterally canceled the series, which was a severe blow.
