New Zealand registered a commanding 10-wicket victory over the United Arab Emirates in Match 11 of the T20 contest at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, chasing down a target of 174 with ease.

Openers Tim Seifert and Finn Allen produced a dominant unbeaten partnership to seal the win, guiding New Zealand to 175 without loss in just 15.2 overs.

Seifert anchored the chase with a blistering 89 not out off 42 balls, striking 12 fours and three sixes, while Allen complemented him with a fluent 84 not out from 50 deliveries, including five fours and five sixes.

Earlier, UAE posted a competitive 173 for 6 in their allotted 20 overs. Captain Muhammad Waseem led from the front with an unbeaten 66 off 45 balls, while Alishan Sharafu added stability with a well-paced 55 off 47. Mayank Kumar’s quick 21 off 13 provided late momentum.

For New Zealand, Matt Henry claimed two wickets, while Jacob Duffy, Lockie Ferguson, Mitchell Santner, and Glenn Phillips picked up one apiece.

However, UAE’s bowlers struggled to contain the New Zealand openers, conceding runs freely as the Black Caps wrapped up a comprehensive win without losing a wicket.
