Nathiagali Governor House to open for public: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced the opening of Governor House Nathiagali for the general public.
The prime minister decided to open all the government rest houses for the masses. These houses will now be available for booking.
In his tweet, the prime minister said, “These colonial symbols which cost crores annually to the taxpayer in maintenance are now going to make money for the government.”

Nathiagali Governor House is one of the 169 Government Rest houses that will be open for the public and can be booked online.
The eight-room historical building was constructed in 1923 and spans over 76 kanals. It lies 7,922 feet above sea level.
Earlier in January, the government had announced a new visa policy to encourage tourism in the country and open it to the world.
The policy eased visa requirements for 48 countries and increased the number of countries covered by the visa on arrival facility from 24 to 50.
