NA meeting to be held under Raja Pervez Ashraf’s chairmanship today

ISLAMABAD: The meeting of the National Assembly under the chairmanship of Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf will be held today in the federal capital, in which besides discussing important national and political issues, legislation will also be discussed.

According to the details, the Speaker of the National Assembly will preside over the National Assembly session today. On behalf of Ayaz Sadiq, the Law of Martyrdom Amendment Bill 2022 will be presented for approval.

The session of the National Assembly will be held today at Parliament House Islamabad. A bill to amend the Petroleum Act will also be presented, which is likely to be approved by a majority vote.

Members of the National Assembly of the Muslim League (N), the People’s Party, and other political parties will participate in the assembly session. Attention notice against delays in projects under Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme is also part of the agenda of the meeting.

It should be noted that today’s meeting of the National Assembly was called by President Dr. Arif Alvi, during which the political and economic situation of the country will be discussed.

Dr. Arif Alvi convened the meeting of the National Assembly on November 3 under Article 54-1 of the Constitution of Pakistan at 4 pm. During the meeting, the situation in Islamabad including Imran Khan’s long march will be discussed.
