Controversial scholar Mufti Abdul Qavi is once again making headlines on social media as he claimed that Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai will send him a marriage proposal in a few months amid her marital troubles.
Mufti Qavi, on a recent podcast, claimed that within two to four months, he would receive a marriage proposal from Aishwarya Rai.
He further said that after converting her to Islam, he would give her such a beautiful name that it would be a delight. He said that Aishwarya Rai would become Ayesha Rai.
The podcast host also asked Mufti Abdul Qavi about marriage and divorce, to which he provided detailed responses.
He explained that a marriage (Nikah) requires the mutual consent of the groom and bride in the presence of witnesses, and the bride should not already be married to anyone else.
He added that while one can have multiple marriages, it should not exceed four. He emphasized that a Nikah conducted according to Islamic law and the Quran involves signatures from the bride, groom, and witnesses on the official Nikah form, along with proper documentation.
It is worth noting that Mufti Abdul Qavi had previously made a marriage proposal to Indian actress Rakhi Sawant.
