Model Samara Chaudhry becomes victim of cybercrime

LAHORE: Another model Samara Chaudhry has become the victim of cybercrime as her private pictures and videos got leaked online. 

According to the news published by Arab publication, the model had a number of her private videos that were leaked on social media.

So far Samara Chaudhry has remained quiet on the issue.

According to an international news website, a group in Lahore is behind the private videos being leaked.

The group hacks mobile phones of celebrities and leaks their private pictures and videos online.

Model Samia Chaudhry has worked in various television advertisements and modeling projects.

The leak and theft of private data is a punishable offense under the ‘Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA)’ of 2016.

Those condemned for this crime can face a prison sentence of up to seven years and a fine of up to Rs. 10 million in Pakistan.
