TOBA TEK SINGH: A minor girl employed as a domestic help had allegedly been tortured by her employer and his two sisters to death in Nemat Colony No 2 locality of Faisalabad, Dawn reported on Sunday.
In the first information report (FIR) filed in accordance with sections 302 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), complainant Ghulam Murtaza of Chak 229-RB, Makkuana, stated that his daughter Ayesha Bibi (11) worked for Fazalur Rehman’s home for the previous four months as a domestic helper.
He added that up until a month ago, when his wife had met Ayesha at her employer’s home, their daughter was doing well.
The complainant also stated that Rehman came to his home on February 23 and told him that his daughter had been admitted to the district headquarters hospital, where she later passed away.
Murtaza claimed he saw numerous signs of torture on his daughter’s body when he visited the hospital to get her remains.
He claimed that Ayesha was severely abused by the suspect, Rehman, and his sisters, Sunila and Rahila Bibi, resulting in serious injuries. Ayesha eventually passed away in the DHQ hospital from her wounds.
Police arrested the suspects and registered the FIR.
Meanwhile, City Police Officer (CPO) retired Capt Muhammad Ali Zia has ordered Madina Town SP to inquire into the matter on merit and submit a report.
