Massive jump as gold price rises Rs 21,100 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan on Wednesday recorded a massive surge of over Rs21,000, mirroring the upward trend in the international market.

In the local market, the price of gold increased by Rs21,100 per tola to reach Rs551,662.

Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold gained Rs1,8090 to Rs472,961, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Tuesday, the price of gold declined by Rs1,500 per tola to reach Rs530,562.

In the international market, gold prices increased by $211 to reach $5,293 per ounce, including a premium of $20.

Meanwhile, silver prices rose by Rs271 to Rs11,911 per tola.
