KARACHI: Malir police on Monday claimed to have recovered a chained man from Sukhan area of the metropolis.
senior superintendent of police (SSP) Malir on Monday informed a police team recovered chained person from a buffalo prevaricate in Malir’s  Sukhan area. the SSP further told after getting information from the affected man the police detained five people, he added.
He said an FIR has also registered the case against the accused at the Sukhan Police Station, further investigation into the matter was underway to determine the actual causes of the incident.
On April 22, the police had recovered a woman who was viciously tortured and handcuffed allegedly by her husband from a village located in Pakpattan district of Punjab. Read more: Chained man recovered from a private lockup of Pakpattan police
The incident was happened from 86-EB village of Pakpattan where a woman, Nasima Bibi victim domestic hostility allegedly by her husband, as Noor Ahmed. The woman was unchained during a police team over report of the locals regarding Nasima Bibi, whose husband bladed her head and tied her with chains inside a cottage.
According to police, the affected woman had denied staying with her husband anymore who forced her to beggary and already married to two other women as well. Police sent the woman in a shelter home for her safety.
