Pakistani actor Mahira Khan has shared details of her recent interaction with King Charles III, describing the British monarch as a “very charming person” who showed a keen interest in social welfare initiatives.
Speaking to the media at an event hosted by the British Asian Trust in London, Mahira Khan said King Charles thanked her for her work with the organisation and engaged in a meaningful conversation about its activities.
“I had a very good conversation with King Charles. He thanked me for the work I do with the British Asian Trust. He is a very charming personality,” Mahira said.
The actor added that the King took a genuine interest in the Trust’s work and asked her about the progress of various initiatives.
“He was asking me how everything was going and was aware of the social work I am involved in,” she said.
Mahira Khan also highlighted the importance of King Charles’ participation in the Trust’s activities, saying his involvement helps draw attention to important social issues.
During the interaction, the actor also spoke about mental health awareness, stressing that people still feel hesitant to discuss mental health challenges and that greater awareness is needed to address the issue.
