Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Wednesday, mirroring losses in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs12,627 to settle at Rs442,436.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs11,364, bringing it down to Rs378,170, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, gold prices had risen by Rs2,830 per tola, reaching Rs455,063.

In the international market, gold prices decreased by $126 per ounce to $4,200, including a premium of $20.
Silver prices also witnessed a decline, with the rate per tola falling by Rs385 to Rs6,929.
