ISLAMABAD: Director-General of Inter-Services Intelligence Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed has called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today.
During the meeting, the prime minister appreciated the services of Faiz Hameed as DG ISI and wished him well on his new appointment as Corps Commander Peshawar. Earlier, General Faiz Hameed had a farewell meeting with Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi at the Foreign Ministry.
The foreign minister appreciated the professional services of the lieutenant-general as DG ISI and wished him well for his new assignment. Yesterday, Hameed paid a farewell call on President Dr. Arif Alvi during which security issues of the country were discussed.
During the farewell meeting, Alvi appreciated the services of Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed for the security of the country and expressed his best wishes for his appointment to the post of Corps Commander Peshawar.
