Plastic bags banned in Sindh from today

LAHORE: Lahore High Court has banned the use of shopping bags across Punjab.
LHC Justice Shahid Karimconducted the hearing in which he remarked that all the departmental stores must discontinue using shopping bags.
The judge also directed the authorities to submit the implementation of banning the shopping bags report in 15 days.
In this regard, the authorities are ordered to take action against the violators. 
In this regard,  Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry also asked the provincial governments to place a ban on plastic shoppers in the local market.
Fawad Chaudhry in a tweet urged the provincial governments to at least ensure a ban on the plastic bags in the local marts i.e. Juma Bazars.
