Lahore will soon welcome Pakistan’s first-ever Giraffe Café at the Safari Park — a unique attraction announced by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on social media.
The project follows the recent arrival of two giraffes from South Africa. Once open, the café will allow visitors not only to view the animals but also to interact with them in a natural, open-air environment.
Built on elevated platforms, the café will offer safe, up-close encounters with the giraffes — inspired by popular wildlife café models in Kenya and Thailand.
In her social media post, Maryam Nawaz stated, “The giraffes have just arrived! Stop by, say hello, and sip your coffee while they make themselves at home.”

Officials expect the Giraffe Café to draw tourists, families, and social media enthusiasts, combining wildlife interaction with a relaxed dining experience.
Although no official opening date has been announced yet, construction and final arrangements are said to be in progress.
