KARACHI: Police Surgeon Dr Samia has filed a complaint with the Judicial Commission constituted to investigate the Mir Raza case, alleging harassment and an apparent negative campaign against her.
In her complaint, Dr Samia alleged that edited portions of her private conversations were leaked by Dr Usama in an apparent attempt to damage her reputation.
According to the complaint, some portions of the private conversation were also allegedly shared with certain media channels and digital platforms, raising concerns that the conversation could be portrayed in a misleading manner.
Dr Samia maintained that presenting a private conversation out of its original context could divert attention from the central issue under investigation in the Mir Raza case.
She has also offered to provide the Judicial Commission with the complete record of her conversation with Dr Usama, subject to the commission’s permission, so that the full context and circumstances surrounding the matter can be established.
The complaint is expected to provide the commission with additional context as it proceeds with its examination of the case.
