ISLAMABAD: A federal police has arrested a domestic employee who was involved in the theft in the capital.
The accused, Khadija, confessed her crime. She went missing after she robbed the house.
The police recovered 32 pieces of gold jewelry, bangles, rings, earrings and a full set of necklaces from the suspect during the raid.
The price of the gold jewelry worth Rs 28 lakh. A further investigation has been initiated by filing a case against the accused.
IG Islamabad and DIG have announced the award of cash and complimentary certificates to the women police who headed the operation.
