The Foreign Office has accused Indian authorities of creating unnecessary hurdles in the return of staff and families of the Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi.
In an official statement, the Foreign Office said Indian officials are deliberately obstructing the repatriation process and have taken several other inappropriate actions.
Among these actions, the statement highlighted the deliberate denial of basic facilities to Pakistani diplomats.
Pakistan has formally raised the matter with Indian authorities, terming these obstructions a violation of international diplomatic norms and protocols.
Tensions are high between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack. New Delhi accused Pakistan behind it and took harsh steps while Pakistan denied the allegations and responded with even harder steps.
