India beats New Zealand by seven runs in fifth and the final T20 international at Mount Maunganui today (Sunday) and clean sweep the series.
It was the third consecutive game that India had successfully fought back when New Zealand were in a position of strength.
New Zealand scored 156 runs off 20 over. Ross Taylor and Tim Seifert scored half-centuries but could not help their team to win the match.
Jasprit Bumrah took 3 wickets in 4-over and gave only 12 runs. Naveed Saini and Shardul Thakur took 2 wickets apiece.
Earlier in the first innings, India scored 163 runs in 20-over Rohit Sharma scored 60 runs off 41 balls and K.L Rahul scored 45 runs off 33 balls. Shreyas Iyer remained not out on 33 off 31 balls.
