LAHORE: Federal Minister for Law Azam Nazeer Tarar has termed offer for talks by Chairman PTI Imran Khan as just a political stunt, saying he (Khan) is not a man of words.

Talking to media here on Saturday, Tarar said Imran Khan never talked to opposition during his nearly four years in power, and he never held dialogues on any constitutional appointment.

Tarar said he he never took Khan’s statement seriously since Khan was habitual of taking U-turns. While taking a jibe at Khan, the minister said that Khan was not going to dissolve assemblies, adding that if he did so, the government would conduct an election in that province.
Tarar said that politics is a name of tolerance. The minister said that it was a positive development that the PTI chief expressed a desire for negotiations, adding that they will think about it after discussing it with allies.
