A petition has been submitted to the Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking permission for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi to maintain conjugal relations atAdiala Jail.
The petition, filed by a citizen named Shahid Yaqoob, argues that since Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are legally married, they have both the legal and Islamic right to conjugal relations and private meetings—rights which they are currently being denied.

Prominent journalist Bilal Ghouri shared a tweet stating that Shahid Yaqoob has approached the IHC, requesting the court to direct the Adiala Jail authorities to provide facilities for marital meetings between the two.
It is worth noting that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are presently imprisoned at Adiala Jail, serving a 14-year sentence in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
The case was filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), alleging that Imran Khan, during his tenure as prime minister, used £190 million (approximately Rs50 billion) received from the UK to benefit real estate tycoon Malik Riaz through the Al-Qadir Trust.
