ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has openly spoken against former PTI leaders Jahangir Tareen and Aleem Khan about their differences.

In a social media podcast yesterday, the former prime minister said that both the leaders had worked hard for the PTI and both had joined the party eleven years ago.

He said that the differences arose over the formation of a Chinese commission on Jahangir Tareen while Aleem Kham took 300 acres of land in the Ravi River, which he wanted to legalize. “Aleem Khan expected me to legalise his 300-acre land near Ravi. Ideveloped differences with him.”

Imran Khan said that corruption is not important for both so both of them have formed an alliance with PML-N. “If these two people had the same ideology as me, they would be with me today.” The former prime minister said that Aleem Khan also had NAB cases.

Talking about Jahangir Tareen, the PTI chairman stated that his problem was the sugar crisis on which a commission was also formed. “Tareen stood with those who are the biggest dacoits in the country. When I ordered a probe into the matter, differences developed with Tareen.”

Earlier, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had rejected the government’s announcement to set up a commission of inquiry into foreign correspondence and said that only a commission set up by an independent judiciary would be recognized.

Addressing a press conference with PTI leaders in Islamabad, Fawad Chaudhry said that the people of PTI would accept only those commissions which are under independent judiciary and the proceedings of the commission should be shown live.

On the issue of Farah Khan, Fawad Chaudhry said that there is no charge against Farah, and press conference is being held against him daily, the government is not getting anything against Imran Khan, therefore such steps are being taken.
