LAHORE: Imran Khan, the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has declared that he will file a disqualification reference against the individuals responsible for introducing the resolution against the Supreme Court’s verdict on the Punjab election.
In a meeting with PTI President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi at Zaman Park, Imran Khan consulted about the distribution of party tickets in Punjab and directed to finalize the candidates within a week.
The PTI chairman said that the people’s unity has given a tough time to the imported rulers. “The incompetent government will cry as much as it wants, the election will continue anyway,” he maintained.
Imran Khan said that he is filing a reference of disqualification against those who brought the resolution on the decision of the Supreme Court. “The people are ready to take to the streets to protect the judiciary and uphold the constitution,” he added.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said on this occasion that unconstitutional resolutions cannot stop the implementation of the Supreme Court’s order.

He said that after the election, a new journey of development and prosperity will begin in Punjab. Elahi said that Nawaz Sharif has followed in the footsteps of the founder of MQM while sitting in London.
The PTI president further said that due to the stupid decisions of Maryam Nawaz, Rana Sana, and Azam Nazir Tarar, the government has come to a dead end and now there is no way out.
