ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court has granted interim bail to Asad Umar and Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir heard the bail application in the case of Tarnol police station of Islamabad. The Supreme Court stopped the police from arresting Asad Umar and Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
The Islamabad High Court has also sought records from the police till July 10. The court has granted interim bail to Asad Umar and Shah Mehmood Qureshi on a bond of Rs 1 lakh each.

Both the leaders had filed anticipatory bail applications in the case related to the May 9 incidents. The session court rejected the bail of Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Asad Umar 3 days ago. After that, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Asad Umar took bail from the Peshawar High Court yesterday.
