India is moving systematically with its agenda against Muslims: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday said the government is introducing a local government system which will ensure continuous provision of funds to villages.
In his remarks on social media, the prime minister said Pakistan has been put on the right path and now dollars are pouring in for the first time. He further said for the first time in four years the current account deficit has become a surplus.
PM Imran Khan said Pakistan Clean and Green Index is being launched tomorrow to make every city of the country green and clean. He said the ranking is being arranged of 19 cities according to the facilities.
The first of its kind Clean Green Pakistan Index to start healthy cleanliness competition across the country is being launched tomorrow.
The index will be based on five themes of public access including clean drinking water, safe sanitation, effective solid waste management and tree plantation.
Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan as said the new local government system is highly imperative to empower common man.
Speaking to a private news channel, the state minister said the new law would have ability to solve citizens civic problems at their doorsteps as it would give them decision power to identify their own problems and easy access to their elected local government representatives.
Ali Muhammad Khan said Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government is committed to financially and administratively empower the local body system and distribute finances in a transparent manner.
He said the prime minister is also taking keen interest in conducting local body election in time and determined to distribute funds and power at gross root level.
He further said the new system will ensure completion of developmental projects in time and there would be a complete check on financial irregularities in the local government system.
