ISLAMABAD: The federal government has formulated a strategy to thwart the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan as more than 99 percent of PTI members will not attend the National Assembly session convened on the requisition of the opposition.
According to details, the PTI government led by PM Imran Khan has formulated a new strategy to thwart the opposition’s no-confidence motion. Except for one member of PTI, no member of the Assembly will go on the day of a no-confidence motion.
On the day of voting on the no-confidence motion, only one member of the PTI will go to the House and majority members will not be allowed to vote. Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar has said that the vote of a member doing unconstitutional work will not be counted.

It should be noted that the opposition needs the votes of at least 172 members for the no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan. Asad Umar, in this regard, said that it is the job of the opposition to complete 172 members. If any PTI member goes to the meeting, they will be disqualified, he said.
It may be recalled that earlier PM Imran Khan had said that we have reduced petrol price by Rs 20 and Fazal-ur-Rehman. “I tell the people inside Sindh that the time has come for independence from Zardari,” PM Khan asserted.
Addressing PTI workers on the occasion of his visit to Karachi yesterday, the prime minister said that my first target would be Asif Ali. “Zardari should teach Urdu to Bilawal for God’s sake,” the prime minister said.
