The price of gold per tola in Pakistan dropped sharply by Rs43,600, following a decline in international rates.
In the local market, gold now trades at Rs447,762 per tola, marking a record single-day fall in the country.
Meanwhile, 10-gram gold was priced at Rs383,883, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On the global market, gold prices fell by $436 to $4,250 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.
Silver also saw a decline, dropping Rs800 to reach Rs6,884 per tola.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
