The Pakistani rupee remained stable against the US dollar in the open market on Monday.
The rate stood at Rs280.30 for selling, while the buying rate was recorded at Rs279.25.
The Australian dollar dipped in early trading as global equity markets appeared set to open lower.

The US dollar index, tracking the greenback against a basket of major currencies, inched up 0.03% to 99.53.
The euro edged down 0.06% to $1.1563, while the Japanese yen gained 0.06% to 159.11 per dollar. Meanwhile, the British pound slipped 0.06% to $1.3331.
