Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Monday, mirroring losses in the international market. In the local bullion market, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs1,800 to settle at Rs522,762.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs1,543, bringing it down to Rs448,184, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, the price of gold per tola had already fallen by Rs8,700 to reach Rs524,562.
In the international market, gold prices slipped by $18 to stand at $5,000 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market also edged lower, decreasing by Rs100 to Rs8,441 per tola.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
