Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Thursday, mirroring the upward trend in the international market.
The price of gold gained Rs13,700 per tola to Rs471,936, according to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs11,746 to Rs404,609.

On Wednesday, gold price per tola reached Rs458,236 after a decline of Rs3,700 during the day.
In the international market, gold prices gained $137 to $4,495 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also surged, increasing by Rs369 to Rs7,169 per tola.
