Gold price rises by over Rs1,500 per tola across Pakistan

The price of gold per tola increased by more than Rs1,500 across the country, as the new rate exceeded Rs422,000, as reported by national media.

According to details, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,600 nationwide, bringing the new rate to Rs422,562.  The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs1,372, resulting in a new rate of Rs362,278 per 10 grams.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased by Rs1,257, making it Rs332,100. In the international market, the price of one ounce of gold fell by $16, bringing it to $4,002.

The price of silver per tola decreased by Rs65, bringing the new rate to Rs5,127 per tola.
