Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Tuesday, mirroring the upward in the international market.
The price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs4,700 per tola to settle at Rs429,236 in the local market.
The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs4,029 to Rs368,000, according to the rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Monday, the price of gold surged by Rs300 per tola to close at Rs424,536.
In the international market, gold prices increased up by $47 to $4,068 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices also increased with the price per tola climbing by Rs219 to Rs6,396.
