Gold prices surged to a new all-time high in Pakistan on Wednesday, mirroring a global uptrend.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola rose by Rs6,000, reaching Rs376,700.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold jumped by Rs5,144, settling at a record Rs322,959.

Just a day earlier, on Tuesday, gold prices had remained stable at Rs370,700 per tola, making Wednesday’s surge particularly notable.
On the international front, gold also hit a new peak, rising by $60 to reach $3,540 per ounce, including a $20 premium, as per APGJSA figures.
Meanwhile, silver prices also edged up, with the price per tola increasing by Rs12 to reach Rs4,315.
