Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Tuesday, tracking gains in the international market.
In the local bullion market, the price of gold per tola climbed by Rs3,400 to settle at Rs539,962.
Likewise, the rate for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs2,915, reaching Rs462,930, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Monday, gold per tola had increased by Rs3,000 to close at Rs536,562.
In the global market, gold prices advanced by $34 to $5,172 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also posted gains in the domestic market, rising by Rs192 to Rs9,286 per tola.
