Four killed, four injured in separate rain-related incidents

JAMPUR/SUKKUR: At least four people were killed and four others injured in two separate rain-related incidents in Jampur and Sukkur, on Monday.
According to rescue sources, a roof of a house in Dajil, Jampur collapsed due to heavy rain. As a result, three people suffered severe injuries and died on the spot. The rescue sources told that the incident occurred due to continuous rainfall in the area.
The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities. In a separate incident similar in nature, a girl and the other four were injured as a roof of a house collapsed in Sukkur’s area of New Pind.

Police said due to the rain the roof of the house collapsed The body and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Sukkur. Yesterday in Zhob, at least six persons of a family were killed when a roof of a house collapsed in Duki, Zhob area of Balochistan.
Rescue sources told a roof of a house in the Duki area caved-in due to heavy snowfall in the area. As a result, six persons, including women and children died on the spot.
