A tragic incident occurred in Khairpur, Sindh, where four children from the same family drowned while bathing in a canal.
According to rescue officials, the children had gone to bathe in the Lalan Canal, where they drowned.
Rescue operations were launched immediately, and the bodies of all four children were recovered from the canal. The deceased were between 8 and 12 years old.
Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic incident in Khairpur.
The chief minister also expressed condolences over a separate incident in Larkana, where three children reportedly drowned, and directed the relevant authorities to provide all possible assistance to the affected families.
Murad Ali Shah further instructed the deputy commissioners of Khairpur and Larkana to ensure that the bereaved families receive every possible support and assistance.
