ATM Booth Robber Caught on CCTV in Karachi, Stolen Items Recovered

KARACHI: Mubeena Town Police have arrested a suspect allegedly involved in robbing citizens at an ATM booth and recovered a snatched mobile phone, an ATM card and cash from his possession.

According to police, the suspect, identified as Asif, son of Amanat Ali, would allegedly remain near ATM booths, waiting for people who came to withdraw money. He would then target and rob them, police said.

The police conducted the operation with the help of CCTV footage and succeeded in arresting the suspect.

A snatched mobile phone, an ATM card and cash were recovered from the suspect’s possession, according to the police.

A case has been registered against the arrested suspect in accordance with the law, while further investigation is underway.

Police are also gathering additional information regarding Asif’s previous criminal record.
