ISLAMABAD: Rain and snowfall have been predicted in different cities of the country. It rained in various cities of Sindh and Balochistan including Khairpur, Sukkur, and Jacobabad.
Due to the load shedding in the cities of Sindh, the lives of the fasting citizens have become miserable. Many trees were uprooted in Larkana due to strong winds and rain. It also rained in the Balochistan cities of Panchgur, Nushki, Chaman, Mastung, and the provincial capital Quetta.
The sandstorm hit other cities of Balochistan including Dalbandin, Machh, and Nokundi. Residents of different cities of the country are facing difficulties in transportation due to load shedding due to rain during Ramadan and standing water on the roads.
According to the Meteorological Department, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan are likely to experience rain with thunderstorms and snowfall in the mountains today. Dry weather is predicted in other parts of the country.
For today, the weather is predicted to be dry in most parts of the country, while it is predicted to be cold in the upper districts. The Meteorological Department said that there may be light rain with thunderstorms a few places in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan and snowfall in hilly areas.
