FM Bilawal holds telephone conversation with his UAE counterpart

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his counterpart in the United Arab Emirates have had a telephone conversation.
FM Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari discussed the Taliban’s decision to ban women’s education in Afghanistan’s universities in a telephone conversation with his UA counterpart. Both leaders emphasized that Islam accorded a privileged position to women and protected their rights.
He also stressed the importance of full and equal participation of women in all spheres of life along with the need to guarantee women’s rights. It should be noted that the Afghan Ministry of Education has issued a notice to ban the admission of female students to universities.

On the other hand, while talking to the media in Washington, Bilawal Bhutto said that he wants peace and stability in Afghanistan, peace in the region is conditional on peace in Afghanistan.
He said that Pakistan has made the most sacrifices against terrorism. He said that Pakistan was the most affected by climate change, record rains this year led to floods in Pakistan and Pakistan was the most affected by floods.
