LAHORE: The final list of players who will be allowed to travel to England will be announced today by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
As per details, the team will go under a 14-day isolation period at Blackfinch New Road, Worcester before transferring to Derbyshire’s The Ancora County Ground on Monday to accelerate their preparation ahead of the first Test, which will include two four-day internal warm-up matches.
All ten players who tested positive for the novel coronavirus have been tested again. All squad members have undergone the COVID-19 test prior to their departure and will again be tested in the UK within 24 hours after their arrival.
The team will depart in August this year for England, before driving to Derbyshire for their fourteen-day quarantine period during which they will be allowed to train and practice.
Apart from training and practice, there will be intra-squad matches to compensate for the lack of practice matches due to the non-availability of local teams as the ECB is yet to commence the domestic season.
