LAHORE: Senior Punjab Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Marriyum Aurangzeb sustained injuries in a road accident near Defence Road in Lahore.
According to initial reports, the minister received a facial injury, including a blow to the eye, when her vehicle was struck by another car. Several other vehicles in Aurangzeb’s convoy were also involved in the collision.
At the time of the accident, Marriyum was accompanied by her mother, Tahira Aurangzeb, a sitting Member of the National Assembly (MNA), who was also in the same vehicle.
Authorities have yet to confirm whether she sustained any injuries.
Emergency services arrived promptly at the scene, and the injured were provided immediate medical assistance. Further updates on Marriyum Aurangzeb’s condition are awaited.
