ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has expressed disappointment over the murder case of journalist Aziz Memon, who was killed in February this year.
Taking to Twitter, Fawad Chaudhry wrote that the only development in Journalist Aziz Memon’s murder case is that now at least Sindh Police has admitted that it was a murder.

“The development in the murder of journalist Aziz Memon is such that now at least Sindh Police has admitted that Aziz Memon was killed and the contract killer has also been arrested,” he wrote.
He further added, “I had also said in the National Assembly that investigation of this case must be transferred from Sindh because the accused are the sitting in the government itself. Not only justice must be done, but also seen to be done.”
He added that the reason he insisted in parliament for investigation of this case to be transferred from Sindh is that the accused are the sitting in government itself.
Memon, who worked for the privately-owned Sindhi TV channel KTN News and the Sindhi-language Daily Kawish newspaper, was found strangled to death in an irrigation ditch in February near the town of Mehrabpur in the Naushahro Feroze District of Sindh province.
