Establishment and the Opposition

The current government has completed its three-and-a-half years. Now it’s time when it is considered necessary to convince Prime Minister Imran Khan that there is no five-year guarantee.

Once upon a time, the entire assembly was made to believe that the five-year term is just as far as the constitution is concerned, there is practically no guarantee. But now the “policies” have changed. Now the assembly is forgiven, only the prime minister is not allowed to complete five years.

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s speech in which he pointed out what happened to which Prime Minister is echoing in the ears. The gist of the speech was simply that no prime minister was allowed to complete his term. It would be fair to say that the current Prime Minister has been brought in by the Establishment.

But it is not wrong to say that Mian Sahib himself was brought by the Establishment for the first time. If then it was a crime of the Establishment to evict him then how can it be right now? If Mian Sahib’s past sins can be forgiven because he had become a rival of the Establishment after coming to power, then Khan Sahib has done the same. And he is going to be punished for it.

Perhaps Mian Sahib also has an idea that once again becoming the arm of the Establishment will become a bone in his throat. Not only the historian but also the future analyst will write the same thing: And Mian Sahib once again conspired with the Establishment and did not allow another Prime Minister to complete his term.

TTherefore, as a remedy to this, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) itself is reiterating that “Establishment has become neutral”. Even those with the lowest consciousness of politics know that Establishment is never neutral. The Establishment simply changes its position according to time and circumstances.

The question is, in whose interest does the PML-N’s statement that the Establishment has become neutral go? Obviously in the interest of the Establishment. Because with the blessings of this statement, the future “General Sahib” will be found saying that we had no hand in getting Imran Khan out. Those were the deeds of politicians.

He may even suggest to Mian Sahib that what you used to say that we removed every Prime Minister, must now be amended to say that the Establishment had no hand in ousting Imran Khan. It had become neutral. Now you can’t say we fired “every” prime minister.
And the side effect of this would be that the future “defense analyst” would sit on TV channels and question if not allowing the Prime Minister to complete his term was such a grave sin of the Establishment that Mian Sahib had a controversial opinion on it, then why did he commit the same sin himself?

Then perhaps Ahsan Iqbal of that time would say that if politicians oust a government then it is a very political and legitimate act. They have the right to do so. But the establishment has no right to interfere in politics. The respondent will then answer that if it was a political process then why the demand for Establishment being neutral? You had decided in 2017 that now the Establishment will be your target. Instead of conquering that goal, why did you go for it in 2021 to be neutral?

Now the answer is very painful. Because the correct answer is that everything was a drama, everyone was trying to tame the establishment in their favor. When Imran Khan interviewed the generals for the new DG ISI, the PML-N changed its perspective. Instead of ‘Vote ko Izzat do’ statement, it moved to Establishment had become neutral.

The truth is that it is not neutral but against Imran Khan. If Khan Sahib had not made the mistake of interviews, would it have been neutral? If it’s really neutral, then why some important meetings are taking place in London? The one who becomes neutral simply becomes neutral. He does not reassure anyone.

Now, the Establishment immediately wants to oust Imran Khan. If it becomes neutral in the true sense of the word without reassurance, then the opposition will have a year and a half to realize it. While time cannot be wasted. Such an arrogant Prime Minister cannot be tolerated who likes to interview.

The desire to overthrow this government is everywhere. So there it is and with full intensity. But this elimination is not a completely independent political activity. Had it been a completely independent political activity, there would have been no mention of the Establishment.

While the situation is that an opposition leader should be asked “How much hope is there for the success of the no-confidence motion?” So he does not lose his political stakes but says “Establishment has become neutral”. It means that the opposition is the name of the ineffective sex which can save the lives of the people from the most failed government of history only when the establishment is neutral.

The curriculum of political science should now also be amended so that in the political system the opposition refers to the group of politicians who save the lives of the people from the government if the establishment is neutral. In any case, the ousting of this government is imminent. If the opposition does not value the neutrality of the Establishment then this government will not remain but will go.
The only difference is that in new circumstances the Establishment will have to immediately end its neutrality. So the days of fighting are almost over.
